THE SUFFICIENT GRACE OF GOD

1 Peter 5:10
And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast

In this world, there'll be tribulations, but be of good cheer for I've overcome the world. That's what Jesus told His desciples, in extension all the Christians in the world. Let's take note of these two words, emboldened.

It is certain that we'll face tribulations in this world, but there's an assurance that overcoming them is sure.

Back to out text, we have a God that is God of all grace. Who has everything in His hands.

Grace can be likened to grease. A life full of God's Grace will be lubricated thereby run smoothly without noise, heat, wear and tear and it's characterised with peace.

Other characteristics of a life with God's Grace

1. The person will stand out, among his or her peers. We can see examples in lives of Mary. In the book of Matthew 1:23. Another is Joseph, who received great grace from God, even his elder brothers bowed down for him.
   They were not the only one available that time but with God's Grace, they stood out.

2. God's grace makes the most unqualified person to be qualified.
   In the book of Judges 11:1 -11, Jephthah who was referred to as a bastard, had the whole city begging him to fight their war for them and he eventually became their leader.
   Gideon, in the book of Judges 6, was also made qualified by God's Grace.

9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

That is the world of the Lord to us today, He knows about all our troubles and tribulations, but His grace is sufficient enough for us.
He just want to glorify Himself in that situation we are passing through, He's assured us not be weary or worried because:

1. He will restore all the lost time and opportunities
2. Make us strong in every area of our lives and
3. Then make us Firm and steadfast in Him, the all sufficient God.

I pray the grace of the Almighty God will be sufficient for us in Jesus name Amen
