Impossible
Mark 10:25-27 (KJV)
It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?
And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
Here is, it seems to me, the key to successful soul winning.
When Jesus told the disciples, “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.” they became astonished, the Bible says, “out of measure.” Soul winning was beyond them. It was
Hopeless,
Useless,
Out of their grasp
Under these conditions no one could ever be be saved. Except, Jesus reminded them, for God. The salvation of the lost soul is an utter impossibility with men but with God all things are possible.
God can do all things. And the Christian can have God with him.[1]
When man is with us, when it is men upon which we rely, it is hopeless.
But when God is with us, when our hope and help if from Him, all things are possible.

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
