The Voice of Truth

Everyday, we face different challenges in life in all aspects. Some are rich and lived in abundance while others are poor and struggling with their finances. But being rich does not guarantee a problem - free life. Whatever your economic status in life is, there may come problems and circumstances that you need to overcome.

The story of Simon Peter in the Bible is one good example. He was an apostle of Jesus yet he too was tested. The whole night they went fishing but they did not catch a single fish. Everyone was frustrated that when Jesus appeared and told them what to do, Peter followed.

We sure have many frustrations in life. But the assurance that Jesus is with us lightens the burden. Do not argue with Him. Stop complaining. He knows everything even before we ask Him. Listen to His voice.

Had King David listened to everyone in the battlefield, he would not have defeated Goliath. They would not have won the battle. His brothers discouraged him from fighting seeing his disadvantage. The people around him undermined his ability saying he cannot defeat his opponent. He is nothing compared to Goliath. But David stood in the midst of his enemy and said; "With my sling I will win".

Fellow Steemians, brothers and sisters, we will win every battles when we learn to listen to the voice of truth. The voice of Jesus Christ.
