In our everyday living, we must have self - confidence. Yes, it's true. But relying on our self - confidence alone and forgetting our Creator is another story. That's what happened to Samson in the Bible. He was a strong man favored by God. He defeated his enemies in all his battles. He was confident in himself and in God's power. But when the people started to give him the glory and honor for being a conqueror, he began to trust in his own strength. God told Samson not to marry a girl who is not of their tribe. He disobeyed God's commandment when he married Delilah, a beautiful woman used by the enemy to discover the secret to his strength.
Delilah soon discovered about the secret of Samson's strength, his long hair. And so God allowed the destruction of Samson.

In our journey of life, there are times that we might forget our Creator, the God who gives us everything so that we can survive everyday's challenges. Do not put your confidence to yourself alone rather put your confidence to God and forget not His commandments so that we might not get into troubles and destruction. We must follow His master plan. We must follow His commandments. Do not rely on what you have rather giving thanks to our God who gives us power, strength, perseverance of doing good things in life.

In planning, we must submit to God. We must acknowledge Him in every steps, in every move, in every decision - making. Why? Because in Jeremiah 29:11, the Bible says:
