SPIRITUAL GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT AND MATURITY!
"Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear word at my mouth and give them warning from me. When I say unto the wicked, thou shalt surely die, and thou givest him not warning, nor speaketh to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require from thine." - Ezekiel 3:17-18.
LIGHT FOR THE NOW:
To live two days in succession on the same plane is a tragedy.
Just as your physical growth hugely depends on your nutrition, your productivity as a child of God is linked to your connection to the word of God. Even body builders have explained that nutrition is the key part of their process.
You can work out all day and all you want but if you fail to have the right nutrition, you will hardly see the effect. This is same as your spirit. What you see in the physical is what you have fed your spirit with. When you do not give yourself to the word of God, you inadvertently give yourself to other things.
LIFE FUNCTIONS IN THE WORD JUST LIKE FISH FUNCTIONS IN WATER! !
The way you feel when you have not eaten is the same way your spirit feels when you have starved it. You can't be a productive Christian if you don't feed your spirit. Perhaps the reason it feels like you are not a productive Christian is because you are not abiding in the Word of God.
Evaluate your life; do you give time to the Word of God day and night? How many minutes or hours do you spend in God's presence?
There's a lot of spiritual decadence in the church today because people don't spend time with God. The reason we have lots of spiritual adult babies with feeding bottles and pampers os because they have refused to grow despite the spiritual food made available to them.
For how long will you continue to rise and fall in the acts of unrighteousness? When will you stand on your feet and defend the Gospel?
You cannot remain in that spiritual immaturity and expect God to do the impossible for you.
You better rise and put the word of God into action to help you grow in life. Spend your personal time with God studying His word. Watch what you say, what you do, where you go and how you behave.
You are a king and a priest. Remember, you cannot behave like a pig and expect people to treat you like a king!!

Very insightful, there s no way our spiritual lives can remain sound if there's a disconnect between us and the word of God, its food for our spirit
