Daily Verse Exodus 14:13-14 KJV

13)And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
14)The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”

We, like the Israelites, find ourselves with no confidence in God while in the mist of dire circumstances. Why do we quickly forget about the past deliverances God has done as soon as we face a different challenge. When God, the King of kings, and Lord of lords promised us something, He will keep His word. He just brought the Israelites out of slavery with signs and wonders as well as a mighty hand and without a thought they forgot who was recently on their side and fell into fear instead of faith; no regard of God, our redeemer.

Stand still, exercise your faith and see it as another opportunity for God to act and prove Himself mighty and strong. I, like many others, must bring my thoughts under subjection as the word of God instructs us, and allow my measure of faith to work.
