The New Creation Man

So God treats me just as if I never sinned, is not only less than sufficient, it is in contradiction of the truth of justification.* God is not pretending in His acceptance of us. He is not treating us as if we were something that we really are not. In justification sin is blotted out (See Isa 44:22), and we are justified from all things (See Acts 13:39). God does not set sinners in heavenly places (See Eph 2:6), or put sinners in Christ (1 Cor 1:30). Sinners are not added to the Lord (See Acts 5:128). The new creation, referred to as the new man, is created in righteousness and true holiness (See Eph 4:24). There is no sin, no transgression, and no iniquity in that new creation. We are made accepted unto God– and God cannot accept sin in any form (See Eph 1:6). When we are washed (See 1 Cor 6:11), it is thorough – our sins are really washed away (See Acts 22:16). When we confess our sins, they do not exist any more (See 1 John 1:9). When we are cleansed from our sin, it is complete. They do not exist any more. What we are in Christ Jesus is what is thoroughly justified – but that does not include our bodies, or the old man, that we are put off (See Eph 4:22-24; Col 3:9-10).
What has been begotten of God has no sin;

for we know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not* (See 1 John 5:18).

This is the new man, or the new creation.

However, we do have another part, called the old man, which is linked with our bodies –which have not yet been redeemed (See Rom 8:23; Eph 1:14). That part, however is not accepted by God, and is not recognized by Him as the real us. The circumcision of Christ has cut away that part from our essential persons, which is who we are in Christ Jesus (See Col 2:11-13).
