OBEDIENCE

If ye be willing and obedient, yeah shall eat the good of the land."

God likes obedience just as every good parent likes their children to obey them. There is a reward in obedience. God said if we obey him, we will eat the good of the land.
The word of God said "You shall have no other gods beside me, you shall not make for yourself any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in HEAVEN above, or that is in the EARTH beneath, or that is in the WATER under the earth; YOU SHALL NOT BOW DOWN TO THEM NOR SERVE THEM. For I the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who HATE me. But showing mercy to thousand, to those who LOVE ME and keep my commandments, Exodus 20:3-6.

Friend, God count idolatry to be hatred against him, if anyone bows to any other things visible or invisible that person has disobeyed God and hates Him.
God said he will visit sin of the person of his children to the fourth generation.
God hates idolatory because it is sin. Sin is a poison to our life, it brings God's wrath and judgement, the Bible says the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus. Romans 6:23.

Beloved, God loves you, he wants to safe you from sin. His word says, "For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life, John 3:16. The father loves the Son, and he has given all things into His hand, "He who believes in the son has everlasting life, and he who does not believe in the son shall not see life, but the "wrath of God abides on him" John 3:35-36.
God is a God of mercy, if you repent of your sins today and come to God through Jesus, he will forgive your sins and save your life.

To be factual, there is no other way to heaven, the Bible says Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. No man comes unto the father, but by me. John 14:6.
In whom (Jesus) we have redemption through his blood. Even the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:14.
My dear friend, face the fact, you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. John 8:32, Jesus Christ is the truth and if you know him, accept him. Believe him and live in accordance with His commandments, you shall be free and free indeed. Perhaps you intend to just read through this post without any decision made or with no feeling whatsoever, or you intend to consider it later, be careful! James 4:13-14, mentions and mentains that your life is just like a vapour that can vanish any time from now, you have only one life here to live. Please don't die in your sin. Jesus have died once for your offences and he was raised again for our justification (Rome 4:25).

Therefore friend, one year may be too late, a month may be too late, a week may be too late, an hour may be too late even a minute may be inappropriate for you, you better decide now and invite Jesus the saviour, into your very heart. Confess your sins and forsake it. Accept Jesus as lord into your life and you will be saved.
