Unlocking the Benefits of My SONSHIP

Good evening guys, I hope we all had a wonderful day? Happy Sunday to you and may we continually live in God's rest.

It's time for tonight's Bible study. Shall we pray?
Father, we thank you for how this past week has been, we are here again Lord humble and ready to learn, we ask that you teach us and help really be like you. In Jesus name we have prayed, Amen.

I believe we all know that every believer is a son of God. Everyone that has genuinely given his life to Christ and accepted him as Lord and saviour is a son of God.

As sons of God, we are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, what that means is that every thing that God gave to Christ also belongs to us. We can lay claim to everything Christ Jesus has because we are God's children. In fact, the Bible says we have been blessed with every spiritual blessing

The question now is if I as a son actually have all these things, how do I claim them? The answer is also in the Bible

We are the righteous people that live by faith.
So it is by faith that we lay claim to all the blessings, it is by faith that we activate the blessings.
Please I don't want you to throw in the towel and be like 'Ahh faith? Me?' No please not yet, just look at faith as a currency. Imagine you're playing a game, you know to unlock new levels and upgrades and all you need coins or a particular token. Good, Faith is that token or coin you need to unlock those upgrades or characters or special moves or something.

The amount of faith you have is the level you'll be in spiritually.

Spiritually, we have babes, young men, adults, strong men. We have different levels according to your level of faith. We all operate at different levels.

Now, what makes this difference? Or in another way, how can I increase my faith?

It is very simple😊 Just by hearing God's word!!!
That's the major thing you need to do to increase or build your faith, hear it.

Now hearing here is not just listening to tapes, it is to STUDY AND MEDITATE on God's word.
You activate God's blessings by faith. Remember what Jesus said when replying the devil while being tempted? Man shall not live by bread alone but by every Word that proceeds out of God's mouth.
That's how we truly live, by the word of God.
There are many things devil has robbed Christians of and will continue to do so because they don't know God's word pertaining that thing. Remember, people perish because of lack of knowledge, not money or power or something else, it's knowledge, lack of it kills!!!

Another thing is, the bible verse that you just know or hear someone say or have a general knowledge of will not work for you, it is that one that you really understand that works for you.
There was a time I stumbled upon the verse that says before we call God will hear us and before we ask he will answer. I was like seriously? Let's try this thing, then I decided to pray and ask God for direction, and before I finished praying he gave me answers. I was in awe, I was shocked and since then the way I pray has changed.

Let me show you an interesting verse in the Bible.

1Jn 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

We are the same way Christ is in heaven.
Please meditate on that.
You want your ways to be prosperous? You want all you do to prosper? Then study and meditate on God's word daily and you'll be shocked.
Early in the morning and before you sleep are great times to study God's word, I pray God will indeed give us that grace that delights in his word, that grace that studies his word daily, that grace that makes one steadfast and grow in faith in Jesus name.

Heavenly father, we thank you for the girl of life and the grace to hear your world, let your name be exalted. Father Lord please give us the grace to be men after your heart and meditate on your book day and night. Thank you Jesus for answered prayers, for in Jesus name I have prayed. Amen
