And thank you. You did tell me that and I was trying to remember where someone mentioned that to me, so I'm glad to hear about it again. When or how often do people vote on witnesses?
Witness votes are permanent. Each member has 30 votes and it is very important for the decentralization of the blockchain that we use them. You can withdraw your support for any witness you have voted for at any time, but it isn't necessary to re-vote once a vote is cast..
Witnesses not in the top 50 can be typed in manually at the bottom of the witness page here:

You're welcome. I just voted and one was @idnit. I think understand it a little bit more about witnesses too from doing so. That's something I'm not familiar with at all.
