Currently in western countries there are two types of marriage: civilian and religious. The first one is related with the legal rights of marriage, and the second is related with the religious rigths of marriage.
Why religious people are against the gay civilian marriage? They should only care about religious marriage, and allow gay people to enjoy the same legal advantages of marriage than straight couples have.
I was hoping this would be condemnation of any two consenting adults requiring government validation of their love. Let's say Jesus Christ is real, how could we know his depiction from the Bible didn't get rewritten over the years, even if just slightly, by the men who had hold of it? Blind trust into another human's word isn't wise.
