Unpleasant comfortable room of greatness

Bible verse: (2 Corinthians 1:3-5)

Devotion: Christ made us know that all what He passed through, we also are going to pass through them but we should not be afraid because He has already conquered for us.
Many just end up giving up on themselves (dreams) and God because they are not ready to pass through the cooking room of destiny. For instance, Jesus told the disciples to wait at the upper room so they can all receive that which will announce their purpose on earth (power to manifest).
You've got to pass through something which will position you to be a witness; and to be a witness you have to be in a place because the place prepares you to be a testifier.
Because in your waiting room you will learn the experience of power; the experience might not be pleasant, likewise the room too, but its what will be your power to be functional and productive when He comes to fulfill His promise on your life.

Finally, the disciples were furious by asking Jesus, when will that kingdom you promised will eventually come? He answered, you can't know the time and the season; because we don't know what's behind the scene.
But one thing is certain, He has already paid the price, and all you need do is to believe Him and His promises and never give up on Him because of the unpleasant situations; but always be happy when unpleasant times come, because that's a sign you are almost there, and devil will always want to find a means to divert and distract you.
Great things don't come sweet or nice, they come with a lot of unpleasant experience. But that's what will make you a good testifier to lift up others.

I will leave you with this...according to Pas. Dr. P. Olubiyi " those bad situations or problems are not really coming for you, but only targeting the greatness in you, if you love that greatness in you, then you won't give up on yourself."
