RE: The Implications of Religious Fanaticism in Nigeria

in #christian-trail6 years ago

I quote

arch Center named Nigeria the 2nd most religious nation in the world.

Now my question is this
What has religion done to the economic development of Nigeria?
Countries in Asia like China, Japan, India that have seen development past what we have are not even Chrislam. Are we saying they are going to hell.
If you look at what they are doing in terms of development for humanity I think they may get the ticket to heaven faster most Religious hypocritical nations like Nigeria. It is high time religion became a personal thing and the need for human development become a public affair

Pardon my late response to your amazing contribution to this discourse. I just saw the comment now. There seems to be an inverse relationship, as you have rightly observed, between religious fanaticism and economic development. Nigeria really needs to invest more time into science and technology than have religious prayer camps everywhere.

Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate.

You have spoken well.....
