Add fire wood to the fire.
Greetings brothers and friends,
In the Old Testament, God orders that firewood be added to the altar fire every morning so that it does not go out.
Leviticus 6: 12-13 King James Version (NIV)
12 And the fire burning on the altar shall not be extinguished, but the priest shall put firewood on it every morning, and arrange the burnt offering on it, and burn on it the fat of the peace sacrifices. 13 The fire will burn continually on the altar; It will not turn off.
The altar was a place where sacrifices were presented to God and where the fire should burn constantly.
God is the same yesterday, today and forever and still wants to keep that fire burning. But this time the altar is in another place.
1 Corinthians 3:16
Now the altar that we must take care of is in us and we must make sure to keep the fire alive. From very early, we must add fire wood so that the fire never goes out. Present your altar to God.16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
We must keep the fire alive so that He can dwell in us and never turn away from our lives. Find his face every day, praise him, pray, sing, scrutinize the scriptures. Offer your life as a sacrifice to God.
