How To Help Your Children Read The Bible

Proverbs 22:6 tells us

Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it

A good way to do this, is to teach your child the importance of reading the Bible.

When they are still toddlers, a good childrens picture story bible before bed every night is a great start.

When they get to the stage of reading by them self it is a good idea to buy them their very own personal copy of the Bible and get them to read along with you..

Us parents though can be the best examples, as it is written in
1 Timothy 4:12

Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.

Be a Good example, when your Child wakes up in the morning, already be up reading your Bible.
Let your daily Bible readings have utmost importance over a favourite TV show , (or babysitting your crypto), my admission of guilt....

If we can follow these simple steps raising our children, we and our children will have great rewards of growing closer to God as we grow together..
