Challenging and even hostile conversations can often take place around the Thanksgiving table in the presence of family. For many, these times are successful if conflict is avoided, but the typical approach is to avoid any controversial subjects entirely. There is a productive approach that we can build to deal with these situations, and it requires being confident in our worldviews and being genuinely curious about our family members.
