God makes the impossible possible

And David consulted the Lord, saying: Will I pursue this band? Can I reach them? And He answered: persecute them, because you will certainly reach them and no doubt rescue them all.

If you face an impossible situation, remember that what is impossible for God is possible for God. In 1 Samuel 30, David faced an impossible situation. Upon returning to the camp, he and his men discovered that an enemy army had taken their wives and children into captivity.

Although David was incredibly anguished, he heard when God told him to pursue his enemy. When he left with his 600 men, David stopped to help a man who was dying of hunger and thirst. I had no idea that this incredible "coincidence" would be the key to victory. The abandoned man, a slave of one of the soldiers of the enemy army, agreed to take David to the camp of the enemy army!

This "opportunity" that God had prepared made them win half the battle, but David's small army still needed to win the fight. Once again, God made the impossible possible. David and his men not only regained their families, but also gained much more, taking away the immense wealth that their enemy had plundered in their travels!

No matter what your situation is, you can trust knowing that God will make the impossible possible. David was kind to someone who needed him; God took him to someone who was the key to his victory. David fought bravely; God assured his victory despite impossible situations.

You just have to do what you can and stay in the faith; God will take care of the rest.
