Fantastic. It's really exciting! The only unknowns are what "NOTES" will be worth and what exchanges they will be on. But hey, where else can people get paid ANYTHING for curating playlists unless they are really good at Spotify curating?
It certainly makes the rewards more accessible but also another way for artists to interact with their fans and develop a bigger fan base. Re NOTES value, the way they are looking to shape the ecosystem is a bit like steemit so it will all be in the pool. Will it last the great "alt culling" (if you can even call it an alt atm) remains to be seen but they are making quick steps and pushing the boundaries now!
It's all about the user base I guess. Same with Steemit. Once the crypto prices rebound (which it looks like they could "possibly" be right now, although volumes are still low) and people can make more money from their content then that should strengthen both their positions.
