RE: Please Tell Me How to Live My Life
Wonderful! Such are wise advices not to grieve retroactively for decisions and not to be too hasty in making decisions at present. I think the most difficult moments are those when we get carried away impulsively, when something comes out of the mouth that immediately causes the most resistance in the other person. It is actually impossible to avoid such things, so one can only deal with them when something has fallen into the well and not to demonize oneself for one's own stupidity and the others with it.
I share your view that we all have the impression that we don't know exactly what we are doing and why we are doing it and how we could do it better differently. However, there are rich sources and such advisors who do not preach or tell us what to do. Rather, they have an open and intelligent and mischievous way of formulating the answers we are looking for. Simply by asking inspiring and disturbing questions.
I myself am involved in the consultative work. I proceed according to the principle of an existing resource. If I notice that the client who considers himself incapable of doing something or is too comfortable doing it himself, I am interested in trying that very thing out with him at the given moment. The first spontaneous reaction is often either annoyance from the client or irritation. If I can achieve a mood in which we can work together, the result afterwards is all the more refreshing. My sources of knowledge and spirituality have grown over the last few years and I take role models who let me formulate my answers when I find it difficult to decide or act on my own.
