Power of language

Let me give you an example. In the past, I worked in an NGO. Once, two or three staff took two Japanese sponsors to a village to visit impoverished children. During the journey, people stopped and rested. The Japanese strolled to distant places to enjoy the natural scenery. After a period of time, everyone wanted to move on. The driver shouted to the Japanese, “哎，走咯”(Hey, let’s go), he shouted loudly in Chinese, but the two Japanese only turned to look at us in the distance and they didn’t move because they didn’t know what the driver said and so they continued to chat. They couldn't understand Chinese. When I looked at the situation, an English sentence appeared. “Let's go”. The two Japanese heard the sound and immediately walked toward the car. Ha-ha, isn't this the power of language? Some sentences are really magical. What do you think?
