World Ride Ep. 23 - Xi'an to Hancheng, China
Hey steemians,
Debashish(Debu) here, hope all of you are doing good. Today me and DJ are going to ride to Hancheng from Xi'an which is around 240 kms. We faced some trouble just as we were about to leave, DJ had a leak on his new tires, which we had to fix and got delayed a bit in the process.
After fixing the flat tire we started our ride to Hancheng. While leaving Xi'an we saw the city wall surround Xi'an, I thought it was a fort or something but our guide(Leo) said it was the city wall. This was the first time I saw a wall surrounding a city, really interesting I must say. Sorry about the bad audio quality, still not able to get a GoPro mic. On the way I was getting really frustrated and feeling sleepy because the roads were superb but we had to maintain a speed of 40-50 kms beacuse of the speed restrictions in China.

We made our first stop for lunch after covering 105 kms from Xi'an.

After lunch we started our ride to Hancheng and reached without any problems. It took us something around 4 hours. The moment we entered Hancheng I was really suprised at how cultural and traditional place it was, most of the houses were of traditional style. We checked into the hotel, freshened up and went out in the evening to explore the town. Really loved the town, felt like we were exploring the ancient valleys of China.

I lived in xian for years..It was awesome place..the cold winter and hot summer..did you visit mountains in xian and tara coda warriors..I plan to visit xian again this year..your post just reminded of my time at xian..keep posting..cheers
