Hi @roadtrips, thank you for sharing to us this marvelous place. China has a lot of ancient building which very grand and amazing on the structure. And a lot of building goes with red and green colour. Have you noticed that? Until today i wonder why they like to colour it with that 2 colours. From the picture, the summer palace looks very big. It took you how long to visit the whole place? And it so humid and hot on that day (from the look of the picture). I may hide in somewhere cold if I was there :P
Yes we noticed the colorful buildings. Because of the hot weather we hurried a little and spent half a day at the summer palace. But you can spend a hole day to discover the whole area.
I must make a tour to the place. It so colourful but maybe in winter, i afraid of hot weather 😝. Thank you for sharing with us.
