China Africa Trade
The first time i had that the chinies were being offer given contracts to biuld roads in kenya was such unusual i never kwen what it meant for kenyans or the future of kenyans.
Then it was 2008, and since then am glad there was such a bold president to make such bold moves , the china kenyan trade has increased 100 fold .
I mean the west may say what they want but the truth of the matter is the china Africa partnership is now much healthier ,ulike the western neo coloniolist who embesle resource from africa through their companies or buy out the african campanies that perfom well, the chiniese are investing and working with African nations to ensure the is a future for their own people in Africa.
I have heard the west say the chinies are colonising africa but the truth of the matter is the west is still colonising Africa (Neo colonialism) is deeply rooted in Africa. The people knows it and now we have smarter people in power who are making great decisions on behalf of the African states.
The west hates it when African nations prosper ,its like its something which is not surpposed to happen , they would do anything to keep the African nations in the same state they in but long gone are the days where everyone looked at the west like gods among men.
The Chinese have a lot of excess US dollars from international trade. It makes no sense for them to just hoard it and not put it to good use. The Chinese are investing in Africa because these are also consumers of Chinese products. A prospering healthy Africa consumes more than a poor unhealthy Africa. Infrastructure is a vital part of trade. The Chinese know exactly what they want. I am no fan of communism but there is one area where a central system like communism has an advantage of democracy and that is in making BIG decisions. Whilst democracies debate for years and nothing happens except political ping pong the communists say we want x, let's do x and then they do it.
African's must learn from the past and not make bad deals. I am more concerned about African corruption than the Chinese.
I totally agree with you , am no fun of communism myself but i guess they are doing a great job so long as Africans are getting a great deal thats all that matters to them .no matter the chinies idiology Investing in Africa is way better than the west hegomony.
