In terms of payment
APP✅ AliPay
Basically, every family in China has an Alipay code. You can successfully pay by opening the Alipay scan code. Download and register in your own country in advance, and then tie the visa debit/credit card to use it with peace of mind.

In terms of public transport

Trains and high-speed trains can be bought 15 days before the important date with 12306, because you can't buy them too early, and the system usually starts selling tickets 15 days before the date.

Take a taxi.
App Didi chuxing
If you buy a China number, you can directly use this app to authenticate and take a taxi, just like Grab.
However, if you don't buy China's phone number, there is no way to take a taxi directly with this App, but you can find Didi Travel in the small program in Alipay. You can also take a taxi and deduct money directly from the card you tied to Alipay.
Summary: If you have a China number, you can use Didi Travel app directly. If you don't, you can take a taxi from Didi in Alipay, which is just as easy to use.

Takeaway
APP✅ meituan/Hungry
If you have a China number, you can use it directly after downloading the APP real name authentication. If you don't, you can also order a takeaway from Alipay, but the choice of takeaway platform seems to be only hungry.

Accommodation
APP✅ Ctrip/Trip
They are all the same, except that one is the China version and the other is the international version.
There are hotels/homestays in China that can accommodate foreigners and those that can't. Basically, the options you see in Trip must be for foreigners, so you can book accommodation directly at Trip.
If you book in China Ctrip, you need to screen out the options that can receive foreign guests first.
In terms of price, both versions are similar, but we can compare and see which version is cheaper.

Navigation/map aspect
APP✅ gaode map
It's very easy to use and sensitive. I use this GPS when I walk or ride a bike in China, just like the international Waze/google Map, but in China, the Gaode map is the clearest and most accurate, and it won't get stuck at all. It will be detected immediately when you face the southeast, northwest and northwest. If you walk, you can choose to watch 2D/3D navigation just like Google.

Ps: Personally, I think that the design of Gaode Map is better than google maps/waze, with high accuracy and easy use. You can also immediately see the recommendation of delicious shops nearby, which gives you the idea that it would be nice if Malaysia had one.
