China is completed making the world’s longest sea bridge in south china. This bridge is 55 K.M long (22.9 Km long, 6.7 Km sea tunnel, 26 Km link road and 2 islands).and the name is the Hong Kong- Zhuhai-Macau Bridge. Because of this the time distance between the Pearl River Estuary between the three cities comes down from 4 hours to 30 minutes. This bridge is under construction from 7 years and in 2018 it will open for traffic date not decided.
China thinks because of this bride Hong Kong economy will boost, 11.8 billion Yuan ($1.69 billion) spend on construction of this bridge. Apart from this two main cities Guangdong and Shanghai get connectivity with this bride. This both city are connected with air, rail, road.
The Pearl River Estuary comes under the world’s strongest economic zone. Hong Kong has the worlds 6th busiest Port & dockyard. Macou the place of casino every year 3 Cr tourists visited. Some of the experts are saying this bridge as white elephant.

• 402 Ton steel used to make this bridge
• 100 Kmpl Speed is set for bridge
• 10 workers dies and 600 got injured in construction
• 7 years take to complete the bridge, workers don’t sleep for 4 days to complete the construction. 10 thousand workers work in shifts.
• 96 hours need to just spreading the tube
• Can handle 8 Richter scale earthquakes, 300 kmph wind, if 3lac ton ship also collide then also bridge will stand.
• 550 charging point for electrical vehicles
• Bride has water filter plant with capacity of 2.7 lac ton water daily.
• 6 lane bridge, 120 years is expected years of bridge, 30000 vehicles can daily up down.
