China Preparing Military Power For War
The United States needs a very strong European pillar. I think in 15 years - it's not inevitable - but it is a very strong likelihood that we will be at war with China.'
These were the words of retired Lieutenant General Ben Hodges just last week. These words come after a few months of the trade war, back and forths between the two nations, and one of China's largest military displays alongside Russia back in September. Now, president Xi Jinping warns military chiefs to prepare for WAR amid rising tensions in the South China Sea. An article from the Daily Mail had the following to say:
During the inspection, Xi underlined the importance of preparing for war and combat, improving response plans and focusing on real-combat training after listening to a report from the military chiefs.
He also ordered the border soldiers to 'keep a close watch for changes in the situations' and to firmly protect border stability.
There have been numerous standoffs in the South China Sea reported this year, and with Xi Jinping now technically reigning as Emperor, he's sitting pretty and has everything to gain in becoming the new world super power. China has been very busy making ties with African countries and more recently, Central America. They aren't making the US happy, even setting up a meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Abe! The South China Sea has been home to many confrontations in 2018 and that's something very important to remember, hence repeating, they are very proud about their territory and they don't back down from a fight. Baba Vanga, the 'Nostradamus From The Balkans' predicted that 2018 would be the year that China took over the US as the world's leading super power. Will we see it? There are some interesting predictions from Baba Vanga and China certainly has progressed in recent years, with the US being somewhat politically unstable at times, I could see this happening.
There is a lot of tension building!
