Dear Diary ( children on board)- entry #4

Dear Diary,

This morning was chaotic. It is still chaotic.
I leave for a work trip
The kids have to sleep over at their grandmother’s. I told them to pack last night.
They did not.
There is school this morning.
I haven’t finished packing
I had no time to make breakfast

Thank God for yoghurt and water.

There was a wail from my daughter’s room.
The cat peed in my daughter’s luggage.

She is crying...

I am crying and cleaning the bag and crying some more.
We are all late.
But we sit down for breakfast together, late or not.
Then, I see this note on my desk:

So I think, ok.
Life isn’t so bad.
I am blessed, diary.
