The Joyfulness of little Children
Over the weekend was the India Cricket Match, so all of us friends had gathered up at a coffee shop to watch the match. One of my friend has a 2 year kiddo and he is always with us wherever we go. He is a very playful and jovial child. I never see him fuss around anything and he is always smiling, specially when he sees girls.. hehehe. he is my darling adorable favorite. Every weekend when we meet up we spend a lot of time playing together and that delights up my whole weekend and gives me a boost for the week.
We were sitting and watching the match and then there was another family too out there with a daughter almost of the same age 2.5 years. Both of them started playing. Our little fellow had his small toy car with him and the little girl had a plastic bottle cap. Both of them just kept giving smiles to each other for sometime and then both of them wanted what the other had. The little girl would extend the bottle cap in her hand to him and then pull back and this little fellow would start laughing, then he would also do the same, he would extend his car and then pull back and she would start laughing. Both of them were like totally amused and we were watching at them in so much fascination as to what was so much joy in that little bottle cap and the car and they were enjoying thoroughly doing this. Their giggles started turning out to be more enjoyable then the cricket match.
I really wonder how these little children can find so much joy in nothing or very very small things which for us would mean nothing at all. As we grow up what happens to us? Where does all this amusement, fascination, joyfulness go away. Why can't we be child like all our lives. Imagine life would be so beautiful and also so simple if we would continue our child like nature all through out our lives. The innocence, the playfulness, not holding anything within, no grudge, no complain just being happy in every moment and enjoying what we would have.
Little children even if they fight while playing they make it up so fast, they do not hold grudge against each other, then why do these behaviors start getting dissolved as we grow up. By birth we have so much of innocence and as we grow up all the societal conditions, family interference destroy this innocence. We are hell bound on ruining our lives and we continue doing this and then we say god is unfair. A small child even if unwell or a poor child I have never seen them complaining, they are just very happy with whatever they are.
How I wish we could retain this behavior all our lives and be Childlike for all the time that we live. If I could I would want to be a child forever, only condition is I do not want to go back to school ....hehehehe

Children needs to play because they have to learn to socialize, to discover new skills and practice them, make their bodies active because they are growing up. They also learn values with dealing with other children like discipline and self control when they play. @nainaztengra

How I wish your wish could just be reality and be a trend in people's life but it's nearly impossible, so I blame LIFE and TIME for disagreeing...
Childhood is filled with innocence and nothing to worry about. I wished adulthood stopped at childhood. lol but nah such behaviour and moment don't tarry long cuz change is inevitable on the mortal body.
