The Power of Uppity

Years ago one of my daughters was climbing on the monkey bars at a local playground. While climbing down she informed me "I can get down a lot easier than I can get up!"

I replied It's usually easier to climb than to fall.

"The power of gravity is stronger than the power of uppity!"

As the years have gone by, the wide-ranging wisdom in this statement has only become more obvious!
