Lets raise voice against rape and child molestation in Pakistan.
Recent murder following the rape of 4 year old girl zeenat has spread terror throughout Pakistan, specially kasur where it happened. The murderer is finally caught today and he has confessed to the murder. There is also news that he might have been a habitual rapist/killer. It is reported that he might have commited 5 such crimes before too.
Another rumor or rather a claim by a popular journalist Dr. Shahid Masood is that there is a gang of these molesters who kidnap these poor souls and sell there violent sex tapes on dark web. He also claims that a powerful MNA is supervising this. Most of these cases are showing up mainly in kasur. Recently videos of 280-300 child pornographer were found but the govt. covered up the case. And again before zeenat's case there were alot of reports of missing children or sex abuse. Now neglecting these rumours we will talk only on the reasons of this sexually violent and psychotic behaviour.
This kind of inhumane acts are a direct result of supression of one's sexuality. Sex is a very big taboo in Pakistan. Proper sex education might be a far fetched idea right now. Even grown ups are filled with toxic shame while talking about sex. The parents do not know how to educate there children about sex since they were never educated by there parents either. All they learnt was on street from there friends or psycho grown ups like these guys since nobody else wants to talk about it.
There have been many efforts to start sex education in Pakistan but religious leaders always use there influence on people to stop such attempts. Even love marriages are thought to be a bad thing. If a girl loves a boy and her family is conservative she is sacrificed on the name of "honour killings". Even though Holy Prophet's (PBUH) first wedding was a love marriage. His wife Hazrat Khadija (RA) herself sent the proposal of marriage and He accepted and always had the highest regard for her.
Coming back to the problem at hand. The internet is supplying all sorts of material to mess up an already closed brain. And a person who watches such material is already frustrated. After watching such material he is like a timebomb ticking to explode at any moment when it finds an oppurtunity.
I think the govt should take proper steps to educate a child about sex in school so such acts could be stopped. The age could be decided by the religious leaders. Also if it does not happen parents should take necessary steps to educate there child. Atleast there can be programs for parents to be able to educate the child about sex.
Suppresing someone's sexuality distorts the idea of sex in a person's brain. And an everyday phenomena of life is turned into a bizzare fantasy. If we study The Holy Quran, there is open discussion on sex related topics then why can't we be comfortable talking about such matters.
Another problem is that girls are controlled by there Parents in most of the Muslim societies. And there biggest fear is that if she is educated about sex she will start having relations with men before marriage. The fear is of losing there honour, or rather there ego.
May Allah bless these victims with a place in heaven and give us all the understanding what to do and what path to choose in life.
