Recipe: Vegetarian Butter “Chicken”

Salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation

Cook bush rice in step with package directions, keep heat till able to serve.

Mix along paprika, turmeric, cumin, coriander, ginger and cloves, set aside. Next, mince garlic and dice onion. Heat an oversized dutch kitchen appliance or high sided cooking pan over medium high heat. Add one tbsp oil, onions and garlic to pan and sauté till softened. Next add half your spice mixture and a generous pinch of salt and pepper to onion mixture and fry for one more 1-2 minutes. Add unseasoned butter and cook for a number of minutes to slightly brown and increase flavour. Add crushed tomatoes, simmer for concerning 20-30 minutes, stirring each thus usually, till thickened.

While sauce is preparation drain and rinse chickpeas and cut jackfruit into bite sized items, discarding liquid.
