London - Brick Lane
For those who have traveled to London or residing currently Brick Lane is one of the best places to visit if you like culinary food.
Brick lane is located near the Liverpool street station. Just a 5 min walk will land you in the middle of entirely different community. The overwhelming aromas of spices and mouth-watering sweets will empower your senses if you are a foodie like me.
Whenever visiting do try the different curries available at many of the Indian Restaurant alongside of a chilled beer “Cobra”.
Chicken Tikka Masala, butter chicken and chicken Lahori are few of my favourites but please do not stop yourself there. You get the best lamb kebabs and lamb based dishes as well like Mutton Rogan Ghost.
As a dessert please does try the variety of Bengal Sweet which is available just right at the corner to make yourself feel delighted and tummy satisfied.
Countries like India, Pakistan and Bangladesh do have an ancient tradition of chewing beetle leaf along with beetle nut with some tobacco sprinkled on it. This thing is called a PAN. While visiting brick lane do visit the Bangladesh shops which offer Pans. Make sure that you ask for a sweet Pan instead of a tobacco based :P .
Brick lane also has few bars and which are very light on the pocket. Sit on the road side enjoy a couple of beers and get into conversation with the local.
Visiting will definitely make your experience a memorable one.
