Farm Update: Hen Nearly Dead With Vent Gleet Returned to Rooster Husband Healthy Today
This is one of what used to be two nearly identical birds like this. They both got what's called vent gleet which is basically digestive trouble usually caused by a fungus but sometimes something else like a bacteria or worms. The other one died, but she got determined to stand and is now recovered.
