Since my childhood I was facinated a lot about the question whether a chicken came first or an egg .

The answer to the question is that chicken came first

Scientists yesterday claimed to have cracked the riddle of whether the chicken or the egg came first. The answer, they said, is that chicken came first. Researchers found that the formation of egg shells relies on a protein found only in a chicken's ovaries. Therefore, an egg can exist only if it has been inside a chicken.
So now I am clear that whether a chicken was first or an egg
