our 40 year anniversary shirts have arrived

Unfortunately the celebration that was meant to be huge and probably would have been attended by hundreds of past and present members had to be cancelled because of stupid Covid. We only turn 40 once though so we'll have the party as soon as we can, it's just shame that we couldn't do it on the actual day. I'm sure it will be just as good when we have our fake birthday though.

Originally we had planned to make hundreds of these and maybe that time will come later. For now, there are only about 30 of us in Thailand at all so it seemed like a complete waste to do something like that.

Here's the back

The back of the shirt has all the names of the GM's over the years going all the way back to the start of it all in 1981.

It's hard to believe it has been that long and some of the names that appear early on this list are still with us here in Chiang Mai to this day, most notably Liberace, who has been around nearly since the beginning.

Let's just hope the printers did a decent job and the screenprint doesn't end up washing out. We tried to ensure that this wouldn't be the case but it has happened in the past.
