Black Get A Sneaky Win – Game40

White played a very nice opening game that prevented black from offering his favorite Bishop Gambit.  

White opened with P-Q4 and PxP. Black opened with P-K4 and B-B4.  

White move B-B4 effectively voiding black Bishop Gambit. However black made its first sneaky move, threaten a checkmate on white and forced white into an errand move. As a result of white errand move black were able to check the white King, destroy the white pawn structure and the Queen Side defense.  

There were pretty much even play up to the mid game, when black suspected that white was not aware of a sneaky checkmate plan by black.  

Depending on your opponent to make a bad move doesn’t work most of the time. It’s not a recommended strategy for playing chess. But it is definitely one that you should allow to happen. That exactly what black did. Black didn’t try and force the sneaky move but just let it happen. Black sneakily captured white rook and white resigned.
