Shoulder Shrug
On scenarios like this one, I've seen pawn being traded for rooks, but some times, when we play correctly, I've seen rooks being taken by pawns just to be Queened and win the game, this puzzle wants us to achieve that, I believe.
The fact that the puzzle is so long is unimportant, most of it was just getting the pawn to safety while moving the king correctly, the only thing to take into account is to not let the opponent's king get in the way which is why we took our king over the pawn to the other side. Then, not crowning but to get a knight with that pawn and get the draw seems a little stupid but reading the comments now it makes sense.
