Low charge bishop pair

Bishops are powerful, maybe not as powerful as rooks but, if we know how to use them and where and when they do the most damage, bishops can be lethal when the game is not as open as when we'd rather have two rooks.

By risking checkmate on g7 with the Queen on the same diagonal as the bishop, we force the opponent to block that way with the pawn on e6, effectively winning a rook.
