Chess: A very nice queen sacrifice I played in a game.
Starting Position
In this position after Ra8 I decided to play the amazing Bxh6
Forcing black to take my queen, since anything else makes no sense, but then white has a powerful initiative against the black king.
After black takes the queen white has an open king to attack.
And then the final point of the sacrificial combination white achieves critical mass around the black king, now there is only left to figure out where the checkmate is.
The Game
Excellent game and very instructive. All the machinery formed by the bishops and the two towers had a destructive character. And the Black Lady alone and unable to do anything.
