Shamkir Chess Tournament in the memory of Vugar Gashimov
In the city of Shamkir (Azerbaijan) on 19-28 April the fifth memorial of Vugar Gashimov takes place.
Tournament shall be held in round-robin system.
Players: Maqnus Carlsen (2843), Shakhriyar Mamedyarov (2814), Sergey Karjakin (2778), Ding Liren (2778), Anish Giri (2777), Veselin Topalov (2749), Teimour Radjabov (2748), David Navara (2745), Radoslav Wojtaszek (2744), Rauf Mammadov (2704).
Time control: 120 minutes for the first 40 moves, 60 minutes for the next 20 moves and then each player shall be allotted 15 minutes after the second time control; an increment of 30 seconds per move shall be allowed from move 61 onwards.
The rounds are scheduled daily from 15:00 (GMT+3). 18 – 28 April 2018
