Another day, another spray?
Finally, we have had a couple of clear days in a row. The summer has been mostly overcast and terrible. Snow last weekend and 26 today, go figure - of course, the aeroplane trails have nothing to do with the weather being so bad. The fact they spread out to cause the overcast is normal and has happened for years, or so I keep getting told. THe problem is, I am a fisherman, an outdoors person, who has to watch the weather to know if it is worth going fishing. I have noticed the changes. Aeroplane trails which are persistent and spread into clouds were definitely not a thing until just a few years ago, now they are a regular occurrence, and Canberra's skies are suddenly crisscrossed with them day in, day out. And so I doubt our nice weather will last long. First light sees first trails and they continue through the day, leaving the sky hazy and overcast by afternoon.

These are just some of the trails today. We are getting hammered, but at least it is nice and clear.
