New Beginnings and Many Continuations

Being my first entry here on Steemit, please allow me to introduce myself. My interests are all over the map. I enjoy studying mythology, astrology, astronomy, geology, gardening, vermiculture, hiking, animals of all kinds, nutrition, art, ceramics, D&D gaming, environmental challenges, exploring other places and cultures, what makes people tick and think the things they do, textile arts, museums, beaches, live performances, food and myriad other subjects that you may read about on my blog. I've been looking for a platform like Steemit for years now and recently heard an interview with Caroline Casey and Yahia Lababidi in which they discussed Steemit and my ears pricked-up fast. My hope in writing is that I can bring some humor and wise words to the forefront and slash through the mundane while making some sort of sense in one way or another!
