Discord... my old nemesis
I am to meet a lot of persons on Discord here in the hatchling 2018, but every time I try something goes wrong. I am not logged in, my browser crashes... I am not the big chatterbox either, but always struggle to keep up. It is terribly stressful for me
I think I now figured out what went wrong and tomorrow I will try again... this time for real! But why is it that everybody now uses a game chat? what happened to the web-chats everybody used last year?
You should use the app, not Discord on the browser.
Yes, the app, forgot to mention that. I had problems installing it on my Mageia Linux and gave up because I was to much in a hurry with other things. Might give it a go later.
I hate the interface. It's low-contrast (hard to read), crowded, and has crap popping out at you when you're trying to focus. I tried switching to a lighter theme but it only changed half of the screen.
I wish folks would use steemit.chat instead, it's much less irritating.
I am with you simply because I already have used Steemit Chat and it worked :)
You are not alone in keeping up with people
As much as i love Discord, i feel kinda defenseless in there sometimes. Like it is pretty easy to just let it invade your soul with its cute little "pings", shiny colors and inviting main screen...
discord kina lagg my network and pc too so game chat is alot easy for me
People can mistakenly learn. Nobody can learn if he does not make mistakes. There is something better than mistakes made. There is nothing to fear.
