RE: ✴️ WHO ARE CURRENTLY THE TOP CURATORS ON STEEMIT? I MADE THE LIST! 🤑
I appreciate you taken time to share you views. Here is my answer to your questions:
I'm trying my best to read other other persons blog and then interact with them via comments (you can see my all comments, every single comment I made only after going through the post).
Are you chatting and networking with xtian steemians interested in bitcoin?
Yes, with a few.
Yes I also shared my posts on social media but based on my past experience no one likes to read anyones post unless either you promote it or you've a huge fan base. On twitter Impressions: 51 no one clicked except me. Almost same thing is going on here. Everyone is just after money...
Are you positioning yourself as the crypto-xtian on steemit?
Sorry to say I don't know what is 'crypto-xtian'. Neither it's a tag nor it's Steemit chat channel.
How much exposure and visitors do you expect to get when you have 125 followers? Steemit is like any social media.
Not even a single one is my follower, they all traded with me, you follow me, I follow you (which is a shocking thing for me because this just happens on twitter and FB, I didn't come here with this mindset) and users who are promoting Steemit on YT videos by saying you get warm welcome and a very good audience who listen to you, that all are actually part of paid promotion. I'm afraid, you just resteem in your blog, to write an article one has to do proper research, draft it and create photos and finally proofread it etc.. I takes times. I'm afraid, do it once you will come to know how does it feel like after investing your night time and no one read it. I'm no new to online world, it's been yrs now I'm have doing the same kind of stuff, the only surprise is on Youtube people are promoting like anything by saying big things but nothing seems true here.
I have been in touch with online work for last 12 years and can say based on my experience it's all hype in Youtube videos and FB posts about steemit, they all are paid promotion (and initially I believed whatever they said...). I do understand when steemit was launched people might got good exposure and made good money but not any more now it's not everyone cup of tea. It's very crowded. No matter you invested 3 hrs or 6 hrs in creating content, no one cares.
One can complain about it or get to work with a positive attitude
I DO not believe in complaining, I'm a optimistic person but evaluation and sharing opinion isn't considered complaining, there is thin line in that. For ex: Just lately I posted a comment on someone blog post before you made a comment, if you read that you will come to know I don't believe in complaining or giving up, in fact I tried my best to motivated that user and advised not to give up https://steemit.com/life/@journeyoflife/never-stop-trying#@robbinsmith/re-journeyoflife-never-stop-trying-20171101t031832425z
As far as the bots, as far as I can tell, one doesn't make much from paying for bot votes
A user posted a comment on my post shared how she is making money by paying to bots and encouraged me to do that. I do not want to do this...otherwise FB and twitter are better if one has to spend money and do paid promotion. We need a better social media platform that why we all are here on Steemit.
You wrote a good article. Good on you.
I am grateful to you :) my friend.
I'm sincerely grateful to you as a fellow member. Wish you all the best on Steemit.
I made up the crypto-xtian term. You speak to xtians, you speak to crypto...combine the two.
Follow for follow is a terrible strategy. Ughh. If only because it doesn't benefit anyone.
It's no different on twitter or any other social platform...of course you're the only one clicking on your stuff because you're the only one seeing it. One has to push one's content in front of others, in a variety of ways. Even putting a product up on Amazon doesn't mean you'll get sales, you still have to push your up into the rankings/popularity/visibility.
3 hours or 6 hours is irrelevant: you can spend 1,000 hours building a huge website...but if you don't do it in a way that google/people will find it, nobody will every find it or see it.
