It is really hard to say but I do think that we will have to spend more time consolidating before the market is ready for another move up. A drop below $10K could happen at any moment but that is only because we are teetering on that support level right now around the mid $10K range.

What really spurred the most recent push was the Facebook news which got immediately doused with cold water. The fact that we have even stayed above $10K for this long is amazing considering how quickly the price ran up since last December.

Bitcoin price really reacts dramatically to news and hype cycles as we all know so the next pump up will most definitely be a media driven news event. The loosening of some sort of SEC or other federal regulation is my guess for the next price catalyst. ETF's and trading desks are only going to fuel the fire NEXT year but not this year.
