A DAY TO REMEMBER
Yesterday as I was free,me and my friends of the organization called REACH OUT CHARITY VERGE UGANDA decided to pay a visit to one of the ladies deep in the village to surprise her with Christmas gifts
Our administrator had visited her a week before
And she gave her some stuffs she shud prepare for the visitors(we).
We were so surprised by the way this poor old lady welcomed us and the way she had prepared.
She cooked her favourite dish ,laid her best piece of cloth on the floor for us to sit on but we declined and decided to sit on the papyrus mat which she had in the corner of her house.
Though they were dirty but we wanted to show her some good company.
We ate till our stomachs couldn't tolerate any more food.
It was such a good day for me to the and help such people,we instil hope and help them to feel not neglected.
As am continuing my journey with Steemit,iam aiming to helping more and more helpless people to show them that they can also enjoy life.
