Support Nepal - support a charity minded Steemian

Hi guys, thanks for all that helped supporting charity cases and people in need during the last three weeks. In Week 4 of Charity Weekly I would like to help a guy the core Steemians will probably meet at Steemfest - please check out the profile and work of @abh12345.

All liquid SBDs this posts generates will be transferred to him accordingly. Feel free to donate to him or consider at least some Upvotes or Resteems. He will for sure discuss some ideas in Lisbon soon with you guys anyway!

Here a quote from one of his posts - hope cheetah is not minding that one (The following is a quote summary):

"For most of the past year, the thoughts of doing some volunteer work in Nepal has been on my mind, and having recently finished an I.T. contract at the United Nations in Spain, I'm now free from the 9-5 grind and ready to pursue something that holds more meaning. This would be to offer my time and skills in a place where I would see a direct impact.
Working for one of the world's biggest 'charities' sounds great, but sitting behind a desk supporting the systems that support the people in offices, who support the people on the ground, who bring aid to the people in need, just felt a little too far from the action to me.

Last year, my girlfriend ( @osm0sis ) spent some time at a Children's Home in Nepal, and the passion in which she describes it has made me interested and eager to do the same. This sounds like a great way to have a positive impact on people's lives and may indeed be something that could fill my soul with joy and satisfaction in that i'd been useful during my time here on earth.

So as it stands, this November we will be heading to this children's home to continue and expand on the work Sylvia and other kind volunteers have done in donating their own skills, time, and funds."

What is CharityWeekly again?

It is just a little new tag and initiative I try to handle every week - we are just beginning. Hope to get the big guns behind this tag like @pharesim or @nextgencrypto who already showed their huge support.

Suggest others I can support for Week 4 and later of #charityweekly

For now we could donate and support @papilloncharity @sergiomendes @travelwithus @charityproject - check their profiles for more and help directly. Still for payout is the current support post for @rhondak.

I am sure a lot other charity initiatives are here we can help - or people in need. Let me know proven cases in the comments. I will check them before promoting or donating. Let us help others to be able to help.

wow...this is great.. will definitely help

Thanks for your comments, we are embarrassed that we didn't see the post until now.

As @uwelang says, you can have a chat with us at Steemfest or Discord regarding the details of our Volunteer work, and perhaps help with ideas on how to present It on here that will help 'validate' it when we are in Nepal.

We are the organisation as such, and plan to blog with photos, what is needed, the receipts, and the items in use. We plan to use all the SBDs from these forthcoming blogs on the work.

Cheers

Asher

Resteemed :-)

I love this idea and project. If you can get together at least 15 people you can can a channel on MSP just for charity. There you can chat, discuss ideas, and share ideas. What are your thoughts about discussing this on MSP waves too?

makes sense to handle that, let me have a think

Any more thoughts on the MSP Radio show?!

I would be in usually - however we need talks beforehand

Yes we do, when are you free to chat?

ideally send me 3 meeting proposals for next week

Thursday at 6pm eastern time. Friday at 4pm. Saturday at 10am. Thoughts?
