Day 2: loving the poor people on the streets of Kampala

Volunteer charity activity 2: Today I have resumed my commitment of walking on the streets of kampala which is the capital city of Uganda. Reaching out to the poor people that sit on the busy road sides of certain streets of kampala busy begging for help from people passing by.

Today i have met 3 people a gentle man who is lame with no legs and 2 old ladies. These were all sited down on the road side begging for help from whoever was passing by them. I noticed them from a distance and decided to go and do some shopping for them. Since it was morning time i bought items like bread, sugar and milk from Bemuga Supermarket. I came with the items and distributed them to every one of them equally. I gave to each one of them bread, milk, and sugar. These components made their special breakfast for the day.

These were very happy and appreciated greatly for the act of kindness and care shown towards them.

Giving is caring. Its really a powerful and blessed thing to give to the needy people out there. As we celebrate our success and prosperity, its always good to remember the poor and the unfortunate ones by lending a hand in order to make a difference in their lives as well. Any offering however small it may be it can really make a difference in someones life out there. You don't have to be very rich to help the poor ones. You can help others right away from the little you have on you.

What a joy that floods your heart to see yourself cheering up someone else. Its really a great feeling that words are not even enough to explain it. Am so glad and very happy to be doing this great act of love towards those that are unfortunate.

Lets spread more heart felt love to the hurting world.
