I know what you mean..just look at our current governor wanting us to pay forty five cents more a gallon of gas so she can put four hundred million back into the pocketbook of colleges that have billion dollar trust funds that Snyder took from them. I know I am done wanting to play that game.
I thought the 45 cents was supposedly for roads but heck it might as well officially be for the MEDC slush fund. Most of the money goes to waste anyways. We shouldn't even have a damn income tax but tax slaves seem to be fine with getting ripped off. :(
During a recent local blog debate on it it was surprising to find some who felt it perfectly acceptable to cost people $4.50 in taxes for every $10.00 spent on gas. Those people must feel they are the only ones entitled to afford to drive. The forty five cents is for roads, it's suppose to alleviate having to take from education to fund road projects after they took the money for roads and used it elsewhere. If I remember I will look tomorrow for the run down on it.
