Successful homeless meal today in Tulsa, we fed a record crowd today in perfect weather!
We set up as we normally do in downtown Tulsa today. The main menu was Mexican food, and we had the grills running too, with four people working on both grills.
We served roasters of Spanish Rice, two different heat levels of chilli, and refried beans; along with an armload of tacos and supplies for Cheeseburgers, toasted cheese sandwiches, and fried egg sandwiches (by requests). We also had nachos, baked potatoes for the chilli. Also the regular: au gratin potatoes, Mac and cheese, and spaghetti.
We served 360 homeless today; the most we have ever had show up. The line was solid and wrapped 90 degrees up the street after we had been serving for an hour already, That corner is half a block away.
We had enough food, but we kept the grill running for two and a half hours to help fill the gap. We grilled 100+ cheese burgers, 250 cheese sandwiches, and about a hundred fried egg sandwiches. It was insane, but we got through it.
Great service to those in need. Bless the Most High.

I'm hoping the best for both of you! I understand that she's having trouble sitting it takes time to heal especially from 4 surgeries.
I will be sending seeds to Uganda shortly, and I also have a watch here I'm going to send to zipporah. I'm sending a seed Vault that should be good for another 5 years and I'm sending what seeds I can find but the ones for this year aren't out yet but they should be fine anyway. I found the pumpkins you were asking about and ordered those seeds and they'll be included. It should be enough seeds to plant several Acres. The seed Vault claims it's enough to plant an acre and a half.
The server that Janet sending should be real helpful for Zipporah but the prayers are best of all. I'm hoping you both do well! Take care of yourself also, she needs you there to take care of her.
I think I got a phone call this morning from an area code in your country was that you? Is everything okay?
I am so sorry you found out what kind of a load it is when Mama is sick, and down, I wouldn't wish that on anybody! I'm hoping she gets better soon, I think you're doing the right thing.

We had People from five churches and one motorcycle club helping today. They all worked Very hard, and we served out about 50 gallons of food, not including what we grilled. It was a busy day, and everyone left well fed! We emptied our 90 cup coffee maker, and went through 10 gallons of lemonaid.

Yes we served out a 90 cup coffee maker of strong coffee. They loved it! We make it every time.

We had eight kitchens cooking for this meal. The grill made four to five hundred meals too.

I will, I am working on some consulting right now, so my hands are full for the next 24 hours.
But the homeless were my priority this morning, and we are done now until next month.
